ELIANA ALESSANDRELLI
Eliana Alessandrelli (1988) studied Building Engineering-Architecture at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata", she graduated in February 2013 cum laude with the thesis entitled: "SEISMIC EXPOSURE AND ADAPTATION OF THE OVIPOL PAVILION BELONGING TO THE GENERAL MARKETS COMPLEX IN ROME", focused on a way to reinforce a building using fiber reinforced composite materials.
Presently she is a PhD student in "Civil Engineering" line "Architecture and Construction" at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata". Since the beginning of 2013 she conducts her research in collaboration with the SIXXI team coordinated by Sergio Poretti and Tullia Iori in the study of the Italian contribution in structural engineering of the XX century.
In particular Eliana's research is on "Eugenio Miozzi" and it focuses mainly on the techniques to eliminate parasites stresses in vault's bridges: the Systematic Deformations method and the Systematic Cracks method.
