TULLIA IORI
Tullia Iori (1969), engineer, is Professor of Technical Architecture at Rome "Tor Vergata" University (2013-today), DICII - Department of Civil Engineering and Computer Science Engineering.
Previously, she was Research Fellow (1999-2001), Assistant Professor (2001 -2005), Associate Professor (2005-2012).
Her Ph.D. Dissertation on the history of reinforced concrete in Italy from the origin to World War II won the “Edoardo Benvenuto Prize” year 2003.
Her research subjects include the History of Construction, the History of structural engineering and the conservation of modern architecture.
She is, with Sergio Poretti, Co-investigator in the five-years project SIXXI - Twentieth Century Structural Engineering: the Italian Contribution (ERC Advanced Grant 2011).
