ANNA PIETRANTONIO
Anna Pietrantonio (1982) studied building engineering-architecture in Rome "Tor Vergata" University. In 2006 she graduated cum laude.
She obtained PhD in "Architecture and Construction" program at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" in November 2012.
Since 2009 she conducts her research in collaboration with the team "Architecture and Construction" coordinated by Sergio Poretti and Tullia Iori, with particular reference to the evolution of construction techniques in Italian and European architecture between Nineteenth and Twentieth century.
Between her researches: "Marcello Piacentini: architecture and construction of three monumental works"; "The Reinforced Masonry. The Panthèon in Paris, The Mole in Turin, The Palace of Justice in Rome"; "The industrialized construction in Italy in the 60s and 80s" (PRIN, 2008).
She also works as a tutor in teaching for workshops, laboratories and courses. The result of her research's work has been published in various articles and volumes.

She is a postdoc Research Assistant. Her role in SIXXI research includes Technical Journals Archives and the periodical print publications related to Structural engineering. More recently, she is responsable of the SIXXI Map.
