IRENE BLANDINO
Irene Blandino (1986) studied building engineering-architecture in Rome "Tor Vergata" University. In 2011 she graduated cum laude.
Currently she is PhD student in "Engineering: Architecture and Construction" at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata".
Since 2011 she conducts her research in collaboration with the team "Architecture and Construction" coordinated by Sergio Poretti and Tullia Iori, with particular reference to the relationship between design and construction techniques in Italian architecture of the Twentieth century.
Between her researches: "F.E.M modeling of precast tunnel segments"; "Silvano Zorzi, structural designer"; "The industrialized construction in Italy in the 60s and 80s" (PRIN, 2008).
Her applied research focuses mainly on structural engineering and the evolution of construction proceeds.
She also works as a tutor in teaching for workshops, laboratories and courses.
